All That Jazz is a hybrid floribunda shrub rose in the rose family (Rosaceae) bred by Jerry F. Twomey in 1991. Parentage is Gitte x unnamed seedling. The shrub grows 3-5 feet tall by 3-4 feet wide in an erect bushy form. For best results, plant in full sun in amended well-drained moist soil. Prune in late winter and provide winter protection in colder climates. The orange-pink flowers are 2-3 inches wide with 9-16 petals and a moderate damask fragrance. They appear in small clusters with a cupped to flat form and bloom in flushes all season long. Leaves are glossy dark green with a holly-like appearance on stems with prickles. Won the All-American Rose Society Award in 1992. Use this shrub in the border, in small groups, as a hedge in the cottage, cutting or English gardens. Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems: Good disease resistance. Watch for powdery mildew, rust and black spot in humid conditions. See pests of roses to the left. Deer will browse roses.
