What It Does

The EEES Alumni Network is a web application built to help alumni of Clemson's Earth, Environmental, and Ecological Sciences and Biosystems Engineering programs stay connected and share their work. The platform is a piece of a larger Alumni Academy initiative — an effort to build a genuine community and professional support network across the department's graduates.

Alumni can maintain a profile card showing their contact info, current employer, and projects. The platform surfaces company listings, a project repository where alumni can share work, an events board, and a job listings section — making the department's network more legible and actionable for current students and recent graduates.

Technical Stack

Built as a zero-dependency, no-build-step single-page application. The architecture uses:

▸ JavaScript SPA router — hash-based routing with page-level modules
▸ Modular component architecture — reusable card, filter, and modal components
▸ Tailwind CSS (Play CDN) — Clemson purple/orange design system
▸ Static data layer — deployable on GitHub Pages, Netlify, or any static host
