'Blue Star' kalmeris is a clumping blue flowered cultivar in the Asteraceae (daisy) family. It is somewhat tolerant of part shade, but will be at its best when situated in full sun. The flowers can bloom singly or in flat-topped clusters. Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems: No serious issues. Root rot can occur in locations with improper drainage. Powdery mildew can occasionally be an issue.
