The dainty lavender-blue, dark-veined flowers with white eyes stand out against the dark green leaves. The leaves will be tinged with burgundy especially in spring and fall. It will tolerate some foot traffic and is deer and salt tolerant. Grow in moist to average well-drained soil in full sun to mostly sunny conditions.
